Do the Handwriting resources include cursive/precursive script?

Monster Phonics does not include specific cursive or precursive handwriting resources. However, it provides guidance and resources that support accurate letter formation and writing fluency in line with the Reading and Writing Frameworks. All letters have a ‘flick’ preparing children for joining when they are ready.

It focuses on fluency and accuracy when writing words from the phonics programme, helping children apply their phonics knowledge confidently to print.

Monster Phonics handwriting is not designed to replace a full handwriting scheme, but it gives schools targeted resources for linking phonics and handwriting — ensuring consistency between how sounds are taught, written, and applied within reading and writing.
